Jill Hanlon Social Works offers clinical, counselling, social works supervision, professional development and critical reflection supervision for individuals and groups in health, education and community services.
Supervision can be provided in an organisation setting or at Jill’s office, Bendigo CBD.
Jill’s goal is to support you to achieve and sustain satisfaction in your work by encouraging curiosity, reflection and alternative ways of practicing and problem solving.
You or your group set your goals for clinical and professional supervision and together we plan how to achieve them.
Jill is available to meet with you weekdays from 8am and after hours, weekends and public holidays, if needed.
Although based in Bendigo, Social Works aims to serve the needs of clients across regional Victoria and Melbourne.

Jill has worked in the community services sector for 35 years in counselling, community and program development as advocate, trainer, team leader, manager and board member.
Jill took a leap of faith and opened Social Works 24 years ago with a focus on individual and group reflective supervision, clinical supervision, professional supervision, counselling supervision and training.
Between 1998 and 2017 Jill worked as a sessional tutor at the School of Social Work and Social Policy La Trobe University Rural Health School, Bendigo.
Jill continues to provide external supervision for students on field work placement.
Individual and group supervision in an organisation setting and/or external supervision.
Sessions can be regular, irregular or one-off, depending on the needs of individuals or groups.

Jill draws on a critical reflective practice model. One to two-hour sessions $100 per hour.
EAP is a service offered by employers to employees and sometimes their families experiencing professional and personal distress.
The service aims to increase the psychological wellbeing of employees.
Three one-hour sessions are recommended.
Fee for service usually met by the employer.

Jill will develop training content to reflect participant's experience in supervision and the organisation's expectations for supervision.
Jill welcomes the opportunity to facilitate training in Bendigo, throughout Victoria and interstate.

Applied Suicide Intervention Skills training (ASIST) auspiced by Living Works Australia.
Usually offered in conjunction with Lifeline Central Victoria.
ASIST is an interactive, skills-based workshop in ‘suicide first aid’ supporting workers and community members to be more confident and competent in suicide prevention.
Minimum 12 participants.
Length of training: Two days.
Jill conducts training events on request at a location of your choice.
Events may include training in critical reflection and professional development. Training content is evaluated and revised constantly.
